The Rusty Shovel is Hiring!

We're looking to fill both full time and part time inside sales positions. Product knowledge can be taught, but personality can't, so we're looking for outgoing, personable individuals that are interested in helping people decide on products that make their yard more beautiful, functional, and enjoyable.

Current positions are seasonal in nature starting mid-March and running through to the end of October/November as the weather dictates.  We would also be able to accommodate late August/Early September end dates for students if required.  For the right person, year round employment may be possible as well.

The Rusty Shovel Landscape Shop is a retailer of all kinds of great landscape items including sprinklers, fountains, ponds, waterfalls, landscape lighting, fabrics, edgings, paving stone, retaining wall block, and much more.  As part of our team at this family owned and operated business, you will be responsible for talking to customers about their landscape projects and recommending products, filling orders, following up with customers by phone/email, operating point of sale software, and keeping things tidy and in order around the shop.
